Ardra lies in the middle of Gemini, from 6°40′ to 20°. Its name means "the moist one," and its symbol is a teardrop — the drop that falls before fresh growth. This is the nakshatra of the storm: emotional intensity and upheaval that washes the old away and clears the ground for something new.
