Yogas & doshas

The chart’s special combinations.

Certain planetary arrangements carry specific meanings, and Vedic astrology names them. A yoga is a combination that produces a particular effect — many are auspicious, marking talent, wealth, wisdom, or fame. A dosha is a more challenging pattern, often paired with a traditional remedy.

Famous examples: Raja yogas (combinations of power and success), Gaja-Kesari yoga (Moon and Jupiter in harmony, for wisdom and respect), or Mangal dosha (a Mars placement traditionally weighed in marriage matching).

These aren’t verdicts — a chart holds many yogas and doshas at once, and they qualify one another. Think of them as notable features in the landscape, not the whole terrain. The Deep Dive view (Pro) lists the ones in your chart.
