Shravana श्रवण

Shravana sits in the heart of Capricorn, from 10° to 23°20′. Its name means "hearing" or "listening," and its symbol is an ear — or the three footprints with which Vishnu measured the universe. This is the nakshatra of deep listening: wisdom gathered through attention, and the connections forged by truly hearing others.

Its deity is Vishnu, the great preserver who maintains cosmic order and links all things together. Vishnu gives Shravana its role as connector, learner, and keeper of knowledge — a gift for absorbing wisdom, transmitting it faithfully, and weaving people and ideas into harmony.
